ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Methanex is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant(Reception and Finance) to join the team in Medicine Hat for a temporary, assignment replacement position (with an anticipated commencement on or about March 26, 2018, for an anticipated duration of approximately five months through August 31, 2018).
In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and vendors at site reception, support the site as the primary user of the site security system, and provide superior administrative support to the Responsible Care and Finance teams in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
Key accountabilities include:
To qualify for this role, you will have a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or a similar discipline and a minimum of three years of previous experience in an administrative role.

Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated, you have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, but also work with limited supervision.
Above all, you will be extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to manage several competing priorities simultaneously.
