About the Opportunity

Currently, Rodeo Ford has an exciting opportunity for multiple, full-time Automotive Journeyman Technicians / Service Mechanics to join our growing service team in Medicine Hat, AB.

A new state of the art facility, a clean, bright and productive work environment, great support staff, and plenty of work are just a few things we can offer to promising candidates.

Working full-time, with a rotating shift on Saturdays (approximately one Saturday per month), your main duties will include: diesel/gas light duty truck and cars, transmission and general automotive duties.

In order to apply, you must be one of the following:

  • 3rd Year Apprentice
  • 4th Year Apprentice
  • Journeyman Technician

Working with a friendly team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical automobile parts;
  • Reviewing work orders from your team of service advisors, examining vehicles using test equipment, and taking vehicles for test drives;
  • Dismantling faulty assemblies and repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts;
  • Reassembling, adjusting, and testing repaired mechanisms;
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups; and
  • Advising customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.

In addition to your qualifications, it would be a benefit if you have:

  • Experience as a Diesel Technician
  • Completed any Ford courses/training, or are a Master Technician
