At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialize in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. In Workday Adaptive Planning, you will focus on providing consulting services for workforce and financial planning solutions. You will analyze client requirements, implement software solutions, and offer training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Adaptive Planning. This role enables clients to optimize FP&A processes, improve reporting, and achieve their strategic objectives.As a Workday consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing a broad range of consulting services across various Workday applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Workday applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Business Application Consulting, Workday Finance and Adaptive Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.
• Effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
• Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
• Analyze detailed financial planning, workforce planning, and reporting processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements.
• Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
• Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes the following areas:
• System application implementations and software configurations.
• Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives to support modernization of the finance functions powered by Workday.
• Utilization of PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project), data analysis and visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) and business levels of fluency in multiple languages to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently, emphasizing the ability to capture effectively clients' needs and understand their systems enough to be able to translate those needs into system functionality.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Degree in accounting, finance operations or business administration and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with EPM systems solutions, including Adaptive Planning, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud, IBM Cognos TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, Tagetik, Vena is a plus.
• Lead the implementation of Adaptive Planning and Workday Reporting solutions, and demonstrate successful hands-on experience with Workday/Adaptive implementations.
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
• Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in: Finance Planning & Analysis; Workforce and Skills Planning is a plus; Financial, management, and operational reporting. Financial consolidation is a plus.
• Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: finance transformation and financial systems optimization.
• Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
• Guide teams in strategic planning and execution, and manage large teams on complex global projects.
• Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.
• Achieve successful project delivery and uphold quality standards, and refine financial processes to benefit clients.
• Preferred experience with ERP systems solutions, including Workday, SAP, Oracle.
• Preferred: Workday Pro or Workday Certification for Adaptive Platform; Workday Pro or Workday Reporting Certification.
• Travel requirements: Depending on client requirements, up to 20%.
• When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required . Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $103,000.00 - 137,400.00 - 171,800.00 CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

* Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region . Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location .
