Job Description & Summary

A career in Infrastructure and Property, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of developing and managing the PwC operational infrastructure that allows us to support our people and our clients. We focus on all aspects of internal infrastructure services from real estate site selection, facilities management, and physical security to managing relationships with Firm travel partners and event planning.

Our Office Services team is responsible for managing the well being of our office environment as well as responding to office requests from PwC partners and staff to help keep the office running smoothly.


At the Administrative level, you'll support our engagement teams from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively support the market team and provide necessary support to internal teams
  • Serve as the internal \"single point of contact\" for administrative needs
  • Arrange travel, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and respond to routine correspondence
  • Maintain records or files and respond to visitors and telephone calls
  • Provide services in a manner that demonstrates the highest levels of quality, accountability, and teamwork

  • Responsibilities

    AV Responsibilities

  • Provide set-up and operation of a wide variety of audiovisual and video conferencing equipment, microphones, data projectors, and computers
  • Provide technical support for meetings, videoconferencing, teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes
  • Provide routine advice and instruction to users of audiovisual equipment
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance of audiovisual equipment and makes minor repairs as required
  • Trouble-shoot as required
  • Ensuring room setup is meeting user community needs
  • Proactive interface with user community to understand requirements and set up needs
  • Working some after hour events for set-up and take down as required

  • Catering Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of conference rooms for meetings of various sizes.
  • Preparation of coffee for staff meetings.
  • Beverage and food setup prior to the meetings in the meeting rooms.
  • Clean-up of meeting rooms after meetings.
  • Codes invoices needed in e-payables.
  • Developing and maintaining a relationship with various food vendors to ensure we provide variety.

  • General Responsibilities:

  • Printing, copying and binding services as needed
  • Reception relief coverage as required
  • Utilize Lotus Notes, G Suite, and other job-related databases
  • Assists with other functions of Office Services as needed
  • Works as part of One Team to assist team members
  • Provides support to administrative team during peak periods as required

  • Requirements

  • High School graduate
  • Completion of a college or other program in audiovisual technology or a related field would be an asset but not a requirement
  • 2 + years related experience including delivery and set-up of audio visual and telemedicine equipment would be an asset but not a requirement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Exercising tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dealing calmly and effectively with people
  • Familiarity with all types of audio/visual and videoconferencing/telemedicine equipment including all video formats, large video projectors, audio PA systems, audio/video routers, computers and computer software and conference data phones would be an asset but not a requirement
  • Working accurately and effectively under pressure of multiple tasks
  • Lifting and moving equipment; good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • Presentable/pleasant mannerism
  • Flexible hours may be required occasionally
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in an office or AV related position
  • MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Understanding of building services, HVAC, mechanical, electrical

  • General Competencies and Skills:

  • High degree of computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet search tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong spelling, drafting, editing, proofreading, punctuation and grammar skills).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Exercises discretion when dealing with confidential data.
  • Detailed-focused with the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
