Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Business Consultant within the Service Reliability Engineering team, you will focus on the planning, development, ongoing constant evolution of and reporting on reliability-improvement initiatives and, in particular, our Reliability-by-Design flagship. Partner with leaders, Project Managers and team members and drive innovative new approaches to reliability, ensuring that it is top of mind and priority in everything that we do. This is an individual contributor position, however, you will regularly lead by influence and interact with other areas of TELUS including Senior Leadership, taking actions that maintain our team's high-performing brand of professionalism and excellence.

    •You are valued for your strategic and creative thinking, you are a trusted advisor, a source of innovative ideas and an implementer of solutions •You are talented at translating an ambiguous business problem into a strategic framework that can be executed upon •You are a strong analyzer and have experience in articulating opportunities and showing success through metrics and KPIs •You are sought out for your exposure to and understanding of technology reliability in the context of telecoms services •You are recognized for being a strong collaborative team player who is able to influence and negotiate with all levels of management including cross functional teams and senior executives •You are an experienced business case builder and possess a venture capitalist mentality, able to extract business benefit from technical and process changes •You are a confident communicator and can interact, facilitate, and present to a wide range of audiences with solid written and verbal communication and attention to detail •You are respected for your proactive organizational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet business needs

    •University degree in a related field •Communications or organizational change management certification or degree •Program or project management certification •Lean Six Sigma certification or experience •Experience in Telecommunications or IT/Cloud knowledge •Familiarity with Google SRE or Reliability Engineering best practices
