As a member of the Business & Enterprise Services Logistics Team, the Business Systems Analyst II (BSA II) will be responsible for the successful delivery of logistics/supply chain projects. You will be a member of a high performance team driving positive outcomes for our customers.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
The BSA II will need to work closely with our business partners to ensure business requirements are understood and translated into functional requirements. Depending upon the requirements, the BSA II will be responsible for making configurational changes and/or working with the developers to ensure they understand any coding changes that are required. The expectation is that the BSA II will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle ensuring that analysis, design, and testing phases are successful. Here's how
•Guide/facilitate the business in the creation of quality business requirements and process design
•Lead and coach other BSA resources
•Develop and execute comprehensive, high quality tests plans
•Partner with the business to ensure project/application delivery is aligned to long term road map
•Respond to and perform impact analysis on incoming service/support requests, and is expected to assist with estimating Opportunity Evaluations (OE) and work requests
•Participate in production support analysis, as required
•Take vague outline/concepts to produce tangible plans or systems
•Translate requirements to functional design
•Define and analyze the application technical requirements and supervises the technical design
•Act effectively as technical communicator with the business and project team
•Ensure documentation for the code/application is complete
•Review detailed design specifications, test plans and user documentation for functional and technical completeness and accuracy
•Participate in the development of implementation strategies and plans with Business Units and IS
•Stay up-to-date on relevant trends, technologies, and firm capabilities Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Expert knowledge in configuration and analysis for: SAP-SD, SAP-MM, SAP-SRM
•Basic knowledge of the FI/AP/CO/PS modules
•Working experience designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting business process in SAP SD & MM modules
•Proficient Facilitation, Negotiation and Communication Skills
•Strong Process Improvement Approaches
•Proficient Project Estimating/Planning
•A university degree in Business, Computer Science or Accounting preferred
•A College Diploma with the required experience would be acceptable
•Demonstrable continuing education in IT specializations and general knowledge areas
•Certification in ECC 6.0 preferred (Logistics) or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in relevant SAP technologies Great-to-haves
•Would be an asset to have working knowledge of:
•Mercury Quality Center
•Caliber - RM
