About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Client Service Technician to join our team in Burnaby, BC. 

In this role, you will be responsible for communicating professionally for daily technical service calls to ensure maximum coverage and to meet customer expectations. 

More specifically, some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying customer complaints, root causes and making service decisions, for example, but not limited: installation issues, shipping issues, isolated factory issues, batch factory issues
  • Keeping track and following up on customer requests/requirements until completion
  • Addressing sales warranty issues and ensuring all pertinent details are obtained for processing claims 
  • Setting up customer complaints flow, document flow, product physical flow, and invoice/credit memo processes
  • Responding to and effectively handling operational, employee and customer issues
  • Working with the warehouse to dig out/solve problems which are related to product shipping 
  • Sending shipping/replacement requests to customers/warehouse and follow up the shipment
  • Organizing and maintaining the service parts inventory
  • Working with the Product Manager to dig out/solve problems, analyze and report on product issues to the business 
  • Working with the Product Manager and the Warehouse Coordinator to do re-works and re-packaging 
  • Preparing technical product specs to maintain a sustainable product supply chain 
  • Preparing all BOM and spare parts for all products and liaising with different vendors 
  • Assisting in scheduling, communicating and planning for all events in the blu room 
  • Supporting the Product Manager for new product developing and existing product improvement

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years of inside sales or customer service support experience. Technical experience in basic plumbing fixtures, installation and repair will be considered a definite asset.  

You will also possess:

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • The ability to understand and anticipate the customer's needs 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • CAD programs knowledge (asset)
  • ERP system knowledge (SAP is an asset) 
  • Data collection and analytical skills 
  • Experience with problem-solving and analysis tools
