About the Organization

Lethbridge Iron Works Ltd. is one of the leading jobbing iron foundries supplying iron castings across North America. Founded in 1898, and headquartered in Lethbridge, Alberta, we have since grown into an 110,000 square foot, modern, production foundry managed on a 7-acre expanse in Lethbridge's industrial park.

About the Opportunity

Lethbridge Iron Works Ltd. has a fantastic opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. 

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching/training and guiding team members working on Lean processes. 

More specifically, you will use "train-the-trainer" methodology for training all levels of the organization on Lean concepts, tools and methodologies.

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant manufacturing/engineering field, a minimum of 5+ years in operational and Lean manufacturing implementation experience and a Lean Blackbelt Certification.

You will also possess proven improvement experience in either cellular or continuous flow manufacturing plants, strong problem-solving skills and a deep knowledge of business improvement philosophies and their respective tools – e.g. Lean, six sigma, TOC.
