Horizon Recruitment has immediate openings for experienced Contracts Administrators on a 1 year term with a large O&G producer. The Contracts Administrator will be a part of an accomplished team providing contract administration and formation expertise on initiatives ranging from $1M to $50M. The Contracts Administrator will work at Site on a 4:3 basis for 10 hours/day.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-award vendor relationships with service providers
  • Assist with major vendor negotiations
  • Manage all change orders, claims, and scope inquiries
  • Develop and manage vendor KPI's and scorecards
  • Track project budgets and schedules for contract portfolio
  • Assist with the development of scope of work and RFx for tenders
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers and construction/site managers to ensure vendors are completing work to schedule and to required quality levels

Requirements:

  • University level degree ideally in legal, engineering or construction management disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience working in a capital project environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas, etc
  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration/contract management
  • Experience managing contracts for earth moving and site preparation
  • Exceptional communication skills. Both written and verbal
  • Customer service focused approach to contract management
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
