Our client, a long-standing and growing tech company in Vancouver is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join their team. Who you are!

The Customer Service Representative needs to understand the importance of customer service and is able to resolve a variety of basic technical and administrative issues. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task.

 

The Role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to and resolving technical and administrative issues that may arise. Strong customer service and follow up is a must in this role.

 

Where is it based?

Downtown Vancouver, BC

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email/ticket inquiries by providing technical support related to email, phone, internet orders for the company’s products
  • Provide customer support related to email, phone and internet orders from processing to installation. Follow-up customer calls where necessary and keeping them updated with their order
  • Handle customer inquiries and orders in a timely manner via phone, email and web chat
  • Identify and escalate priority issues and may need to de-escalate upset customers
  • Document all ordering information so it is billed correctly before handing to the Customer Care team

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have technical aptitude, detail-oriented, and provide accuracy in all communications
  • Fluency in English both verbally and written, able to solve problems and handle issues over the phone with courtesy and professionalism
  • Ability to problem solve by thinking "outside the box" is an asset
  • Experience with ISP's, phones and connectivity an asset but not required
  • Customer service and call centre experience is an asset
