In this role, within our Technology Strategy (TS) team, you will collaborate closely with key TELUS architects, senior team members, business primes, across the organization to help deliver key strategic and transformational initiatives. Specifically, you will be responsible for owning, driving and reporting on platform and services roadmaps along with solutioning of networking related challenges involving multiple technologies and internal stakeholders. You will work on the development, testing, and automation of various IP core projects which directly impacts the services and stability of our network for our wireless and wireline customers.

This position require candidate to be located in our Edmonton or Scarborough office.Here's how
•Development of IP solutions to solve service provider networking challenges
•Work in a lab environment to configure, certify, upgrade, document and troubleshoot IP Core vendor platforms
•Create testing strategies using knowledge of IP protocol & performance test tools such as IXIA and Spirent
•Assess features, performance, and cost analysis of vendors, platforms and services
•Coordinate multiple teams to implement and trial services and technology
•Communicate ongoing progress against key milestones, issues, impacts, performance metrics and risks Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Known as someone who can adapt quickly, learn fast, embrace change and lead by example
•Regarded as a self-starter who is proactive and collaborates effectively
•Respected for your 5+ years of knowledge in IP core Multicast, TE, QOS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN
•Advance knowledge and experience with IP Routing Protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP)
•Experience with Nokia SROS and Juniper JUNOS is an asset
•Equipped with an Engineering, computer science or related degree Great-to-haves
•Good knowledge of SDN and NFV technology environments
•Knowledge in programmability of networks (OpenConfig, NetConf, YANG, etc.) Who is TELUS?
