A Dispatcher/Office Administrator must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task efficiently and handle all client inquiries, requests for service calls as well as scheduling of drivers in a professional and articulate manner.The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing person with excellent communication skills and be e to work in a very busy business environment.

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Dispatching and Administrative experience;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills both on the phone and in person;
  • Demonstrate commitment to a strong safety culture;
  • Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract and Clear Criminal record;
  • Valid Emergency First Aid & CSTS;
  • Pass drug and alcohol testing process;
  • Above average knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel;
  • Effective problem solving skills;
  • Post- Secondary education an asset;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment;
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to follow a task through to completion;
  • Adept computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel;
  • Good time management and organization skills to complete daily tasks and meet deadlines.


  • Answering inbound telephone calls;
  • Booking drivers for routing requirements as requested;
  • Dispatching of drivers daily;
  • Handling customer issues and providing appropriate resolutions;
  • Providing data entry, filing, and other administrative support as directed by General Manager;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize schedules is integral to this position;
  • Must be able to answer after hours emergency phone line;
  • Perform all tasks as assigned.
