The Distal Extremities Specialist will be responsible for supporting existing sales and helping to drive sales within in the province of Alberta, which consists of 2 territories: Southern Alberta (Calgary based) and Northern Alberta (Edmonton based). Territories consist of Technology Consultants (territory manager), and could have 1 or more Technology Specialist(s) or Associate(s). Each territory is responsible for hitting monthly and annual sales goals with the Arthrex family of products including but not limited to the market leading Distal Extremities and Biologics products.

Distal Extremities Specialist will spend the majority of time working in surgery interacting with both surgeons and staff. The position requires the ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information about the Arthrex product line. Additionally, knowledge in anatomy, pathology and surgical indications and procedures will be required. Prior knowledge in these areas is desired but not required as training will be provided. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to meet and exceed sales objectives. Represent Tribe & the Arthrex portfolio as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies. Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. Lead instructional cadaveric DEX lab sessions for OR staff and surgeons, attend meetings, remain current on industry, customer and competitive trends, and work closely with regional team to establish sales success.

Required Qualifications:
