Position Overview: Responsible for reducing entire engine assemblies in the medium and large engine category down to the lowest level in the BOM. This process includes, bit is not limited to, separating parts into categories: unsalvageable, requiring inspection and reusable. Evaluation of cores will be required along with the completion of all documents and tags.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:
  • This position includes, but is not limited to, disassembly of 3400, 3500 and C175 series engines down to individual piece parts
  • Evaluation of cores will be required along with the completion of all documentation and tags
  • Efficiently and effectively execute standard scope of repair disassembly instructions

**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**

Specific Skills & Knowledge:
  • Understanding of engine components and how they function
  • Working knowledge of large air and hand tools, and safety equipment
  • Ability to work unsupervised efficiently, and be part of a team environment
  • Strong organizational & communication skills
  • Proven ability to work safely with a crane

  • This posting is a straight night shift; Monday - Thursday, 10 hours
  • Ability to lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds
