What will your typical day look like?

As part of the Industrial Smart Operations team, you will have the opportunity to develop robust capabilities to solve complex business challenges for our clients across energy, resources, and utilities industries. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Leading the development team to design, develop, and implement product features / accelerators.
• Being the technical expert for client and project teams including Developers, Data Scientists, Engineers. You will be interacting daily with client and Deloitte stakeholders at different seniority and technical proficiency levels.
• Being responsible for supporting the architecture aspects of product features and implementation of our cloud solution through deployments and configuration of core product elements for our clients.
• Overseeing technical aspects and deliveries of integrations and configurations.
• Coordinating with executives, clients, and industry leading vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate our customer's goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective Cloud hosted solutions.
• Educating business and technology stakeholders on value propositions of cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the AWS cloud.
• Contributing to client relationship development and marketing & sales collateral creation.

Technologies involved in this application include: Python, React, Redux, Javascript, AWS Lambdas, AWS Gateway, AWS Aurora, AWS Step Function, AWS Cloud Formation, Serverless Framework, and Knowledge of Micro Services

• Improving data quality for high volumes of asset information by automating the processes and leveraging industry standards and experts.
• Automating the process of developing fit for purpose and effective maintenance strategies.

What you will bring to the role

• Background in engineering, information technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer and fluent in programming languages (Python, React), relational databases (SQL), and a wide range of AWS Cloud services and technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, technical solution delivery and interfacing with executive stakeholders with demonstrated technical client service.
• A history of working collaboratively with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers as well as client facing experience with business and technical stakeholders.
• Good standard tech consulting skillset with a solid understanding of software product development lifecycle, controls, security, and E2E product implementations.
• Experience building accelerators/products, preferably in energy, resources, and utilities industries.
• Exposure to any of the following areas would be helpful, but not mandatory
• Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
• Asset Performance Management, Asset Lifecycle Management & Predictive Maintenance
• Operational Technology and Data Strategy (including IT/OT convergence, OT Strategy, Digital Twins, Field Worker of the Future, Remote Operations)
• Operations, Process, & Value Chain Optimization
• Control Centre Operations / Centre of Excellence
• Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
