About the Opportunity

Our growing Visual Communications team is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Graphic Designer to join our team for a temporary 18-month term in our Vancouver or Calgary offices. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with creative minds to support the design and production of visuals and communications.

  • Increasing accessibility in our communication projects and practices.
  • Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite to create branded engagement materials for both internal and external use.
  • Applying your creative skills to prepare proposals, reports, presentations, posters, graphics, layout, and printing production while helping to ensure our work is on-brand and reflects our company and clients.
  • Designing visual concepts for various audiences while working within project teams and supporting clients’ vision.
  • Being a part of a highly collaborative team supporting projects across our practices and branches.


About You

Our ideal candidate will be a graduate of a graphic design or communications program with 1 to 3 years of relevant graphic design experience. The core skills, strengths, and abilities that will help you succeed here include:

  • Creative Collaborator – You are able to translate complex information and present it in a clear and concise way, spanning diverse audiences and platforms. You enjoy working with multiple teams across multiple locations to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Skilled with Adobe (InDesign and Illustrator) – You are technically proficient and experienced with a design eye to produce visually appealing materials.
  • Energy & Adaptability – You can balance requests from multiple sources and work within timelines. Work without boundaries and be open to finding diverse and unexpected solutions to problems and challenges. Be an integral member of a growing team and fuel creativity and excitement.
  • Quality Orientation – You are mindful of all aspects involved, regardless of magnitude, reviewing workload, client needs, and applicable processes while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Service Minded – You devote your attention to meeting the needs of others and readily assist wherever required. You are driven by a thirst for knowledge, continually seeking information by asking questions and learning about processes, people, or issues.
  • Attention to Detail – You meticulously consider all aspects involved, irrespective of their scale, by thoroughly reviewing workloads, addressing client needs, and following applicable processes while maintaining an unwavering focus on detail.

This position will have a salary range of $65,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The range is negotiable based on your skillset and experience.
