Position Overview: The Healthcare Zone Supervisor is accountable to the Healthcare CSM. This position is responsible for the overall quality of security delivery, client retention rate, departmental morale, and overall efficiency of all the Healthcare Operations in Edmonton. The Healthcare Zone Supervisor is a key player in efficient field operations and is expected to represent management in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Monitor all front-line duties of the Healthcare portfolio • Work with minimum supervision and use initiative, especially after office hours and on weekends • Communicate all client and management expectations to Healthcare employees in a timely and professional manner, fostering a team based approach to problem solving • Provide coverage at sites as required • Visit sites regularly to support those on site and to ensure Paladin standards are being met • Keep stock of forms, uniforms, and equipment to provide timely product delivery to the other Healthcare staff • Handle officer inquiries and requests; liaise with management for resolution and communicate findings to staff as required • Provide regular reports and end of shift reports to the Edmonton Healthcare Client Service Manager • If required, provide transport for an Officer who accepts a short notice shift or between sites • Other duties as required
Requirements: • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, must be available to work evenings, nights, weekends and day shifts • Able to travel up to four hours to communities outside of the Edmonton area • Basic Security Training is considered an asset • Basic Computer Literacy • Physically able to walk 18 - 20 km/day • Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain routine logs • Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in emergency response situations with minimal supervision • Ability to handle private and information with a high amount of discretion • Must be bondable and able to provide 3 professional non-family references upon hire • Knowledge of or ability to learn security procedures and non-defensive communication in aggressive situations • Must possess a High School Diploma • Valid class 5 non-GDL driver's license
