Heavy Duty Mechanics Needed in West-Central Alberta for Open Pit Mine Operation
Your new company
Located in West-Central Alberta, the company has been in operation for over 30 years utilising draglines for coal removal. The mine exports bituminous coal both locally and to Asian markets.
Your new role
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will perform duties such as troubleshooting, diagnostics, fault finding and overhauls in an open-pit mine setting. Both field and shop work will be required. You will also run small-support equipment to aid in the maintenance process, such as forklifts, cranes and tire handlers.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful candidate, you will have your Red Seal in Heavy Duty Mechanics (off-road) with minimum 3 years' experience working in an open-pit mine setting. You will be safety oriented, have a clean driving record, have a positive attitude with a team-player mentality.
