Vancouver Shipyards in North Vancouver, where these opportunities will be, has a very busy and exciting year ahead, as we continue to make progress on two 174m long Joint Support Ships (JSS) for the Royal Canadian Navy – the largest ships ever built in Canada! We are also constructing an Offshore Oceanographic Science Vessel (OOSV) for the Canadian Coast Guard and have secured significant contracts to design and build a Polar Icebreaker and several Multi-Purpose Vessels. These projects will bring long-term job stability for many years to come.

To qualify, you will possess a high school diploma or equivalent vocational education, with a minimum of 2 years of coating-related experience in shipbuilding and/or the industrial construction industry. As a valuable addition to our team, you must have demonstrated knowledge of various blast methods and processes (both wet and dry), along with the ability to mix paints and apply epoxy, polyurethane, and high-solid coatings.
