The Opportunity:
You'll be part of our growing Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Team, using your skills as an Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Engineer or Scientist to complete assessments and design major Infrastructure projects in Ontario and beyond! This role offers a variety of work, blended between field and office time performing projects related to proposal pursuit, reporting, design, monitoring, and client development. The projects you will support will be some of the most complex and innovative ones for our Earth & Environmental Team.

A day in the life:
- You'll be using your expertise to develop and manage noise and vibration field programs, including on-site setups, field monitoring, calibration, and maintenance monitoring equipment
- Conduct background review, scientific and engineering calculations, and design, report writing, field work and/or field work supervision, data collection/analysis and design to support acoustics, noise and vibration impact studies
- Lead , supervise, mentor, and support junior acoustics, noise and vibration technicians, scientists, and engineers
- You'll be managing relationships with internal and external clients as you complete the projects and field programs, and ensure that their needs are understood and met, providing your guidance and expertise;
- You'll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with our leading technical experts in the fields of acoustics, noise and vibration engineering and sciences
- You'll have the ability to innovate and solve technical challenges

What you'll bring to WSP:
- Post-secondary education and more than 5 years experience in, mechanical, civil and or, environmental engineering or similar technical field (i.e. physics), environmental technician, civil technician etc.
- Your experience completing acoustical monitoring, investigations, and/or modelling and supporting design build projects, proposals, and client development ;
- Your initiative to apply knowledge and suggest practical solutions to field challenges;
- Your outstanding communication skills and willingness to continuously learn and apply your tech savvy skills
- You've got access to a vehicle, a clean Driver's Abstract, and you know your way around the MS Office suite of products;
