We are looking for a strong Front End/Full Stack developer to maintain and deliver front end facing applications for our Health Benefits Management solution. To be successful in this position you are detail oriented, self-motivated and work well in a team environment. Responsibilities:
•Work with other technical team members, business analysts, and leaders to implement new business capabilities and troubleshoot issuesQualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Interpret system requirements, define technical tasks and write detailed designs that meet business objectives
•Deliver high quality code, implement unit tests and automated functional tests
•Coordinate technical dependencies with other teams; participate in technical activities for complex projects in a cross functional environment
•Make recommendations to improve product quality, reliability, performance, and scalability
•Solid understanding of web-development
•Excellent knowledge of GWT and CSS
•Strong understanding of object oriented principles
•Working knowledge of various software development methodologies (i.e. waterfall, scrum)
•Ability to successfully complete complex assignments, delegate as required and provide appropriate communications Required Skills & Abilities:
•GWT, CSS, JEE, WebLogic and Oracle
•IntelliJ/Eclipse, GIT, Maven, Jenkins
•SQL (PL/SQL is an asset)
•Web Services (JAX-WS), JMS, XML
•Self-directed, work independently and adapts quickly to change Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Ability to multitask, manage time, and ability to handle urgent interruptions with poise and professionalism
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (French is an asset)
•Demonstrate a passion for designing and developing well architected, robust automated systems and frameworks ensuring high quality of code
•Bachelor degree in a computer science related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience:
•3-8 years' experience in a technical development role involving the delivery of software
