What you'll create and do


As a Director, you'll lead a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for managing business development initiatives and activities focused on the Edmonton marketplace.
  • Collaborating with our national internal audit teams to drive strategic initiatives in the Edmonton marketplace  
  • Managing client relationships and engagements, including planning, executing and reporting on client projects
  • Mentoring, developing and coaching junior team members
  • Providing formal and informal training to maintain employees' technical skills in internal audit and internal controls
  • Generating high quality client deliverables involving direct liaison with Partners and external clients
  • Monitoring engagement economics (e.g. budgets vs. actual efforts, billing)

  • Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Proven success with developing and maintaining strong relationships, with a focus on supporting business development and growth
  • Extensive experience working in project based environments such as with significant business transformations, system implementations, internal audit services, value for money and contract compliance.  
  • Prior experience within a consulting or advisory role (or capable to work in a consulting/audit environments and project-based work) 
  • Significant experience conducting risk assessments and evaluation of controls experience including related to IT systems, Financial and Operational audits 
  • Practical implementation experience with respect to ERM programs
  • CPA,CIA, CISA or other relevant professional designation 
  • Keen on creating a strategic direction/vision for the group and manifest that in objectives and initiatives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting in a business context 
  • Highly capable to write formal reports and proposals
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French considered an asset
