Meaningful work you'll be part ofAs an Internal Audit Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Working independently to manage internal audit engagements and projects, including conducting risk assessments and engagement planning, fieldwork and reporting
• Managing cross functional engagement teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
• Analyzing and assessing client business strategies and related business processes and systems to help them understand and address business objectives, requirements, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities
• Assisting our clients in the development and alignment of strong governance and risk management frameworks and programs that support effective risk management
• Managing relationship with client staff at all levels
• Preparing highly impactful reports and presentations which are accurate, clear, concise and visually appealing
• Managing cross functional engagement teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
• Mentor, drive and review quality of work prepared by team members
• Managing the engagement invoicing, economics and solo project budgets, schedule and resource allocation ensuring that all budgets, milestones and other deadlines are met
• Managing and adhering to our firms risk management and client contracting processes
• Assist in business development activities and presentations such as the writing of proposals and participating in industry and client specific targeting initiatives
• Monitoring staff utilization and coordinating engagement and project resource requirements
• Developing staff to progress in their careers, overseeing learning and development initiatives and performance management
• Developing and delivering training to clients or staff
• Networking and establishing relationships with other PwC lines of service and our clients
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve• Experience with a range of engagement approaches such as business processes and controls, compliance/conformance, interview/workshop based, root cause, hypothesis based, comparison to leading practices, maturity/current state, IT controls, and enterprise/operational risk assessment
• Hands on experience of effectively leading and managing a team
• Experience in all aspects of the internal audit lifecycle, including strategic / annual planning, audit planning and execution and reporting, and developing reports to the Audit Committee
• End to end project management experience is considered an asset
• CIA, CFE, CPA or equivalent
• Have a strong foundational understanding of Internal Auditing standards (IPPF), COSO framework (COSO), risk assessment methodologies, management systems, business leading practices and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking competencies, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Confidence for leading and managing multiple client engagements (with various size, scope and complexity, and team composition)
• Demonstrated success identifying and implementing opportunities to improve on delivery, quality and efficiency
• Ability to carry out multiple tasks in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
• Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools
• Strong excel based analytics and visualization skills and powerpoint are a must
• Comfortable responding to Requests for Proposals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Comfortable presenting to groups
• Strong commitment to providing excellence in client service and a demonstrated ability to produce high quality results
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
