Tolko is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Information Technology team in High Level, Alberta for an excitingco-op assignment starting in January 2021 for up to 12 months.

The IT Student will work closely with the Infrastructure Operations Team to support the technical infrastructure for the manufacturing facility and business related server, storage and network devices networks.


  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Information Services/Information Technology program;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Detail oriented with a good eye for fit and finish;
  • Experience with the following is required:
    • Windows desktop support
    • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Additional experience with the following is preferred:
    • Windows Server administration
    • Virtualization (VMWare is preferred)
    • Ethernet structured cabling, termination and testing
    • Switching and routing (Procurve/Aruba experience preferred)
    • VoIP telephony (Mitel preferred)
