About the Opportunity

Avenue Living Communities currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Leasing & Relations Specialist to join our team in Edmonton.

Reporting to the Residential Portfolio Manager, this dynamic role will see you promoting Avenue Living Communities by building partnerships with local businesses and positive relationships with our residents through exceptional customer service.

In order to qualify for this role, you must have previous customer service, sales, or community relations experience along with a valid driver's license and access to your own transportation. The ability to successfully complete a criminal background check is also required. Previous collections or property management experience and familiarity with the RTA/LTA is considered an asset. 

As our ideal candidate for this role, you'll have superior customer service skills bolstered by excellent communication skills, which you'll use to build up a positive rapport with your colleagues and tenants alike. Your naturally assertive nature will enable you to have the tough conversations when they arise, but your strong interpersonal skills will ensure you lead those tough conversations to a mutually positive outcome as much as is possible. 

Your keen attention to detail and computer skills will ensure your success in this role as you carry out your administrative duties. 

Please note that due to the busy nature of this industry at the beginning of the month, you must be available to work on the 1st of each month. This day can be taken as a day in lieu should it coincide with a usual day off.
