Our client, a national firm with offices in Downtown Calgary, is currently seeking a Litigation LAA to join their firm on a one-year maternity leave contract, starting this summer. The ideal candidate will have ample experience working in Civil and Commercial litigation in order to support a busy Managing Partner.
In this role you will:
- Manage a busy calendar and practice
- Prepare legal documents
- Arrange meetings
- Prepare invoices/billing
- Organize files
- Assist with general administrative duties as required.
As the successful candidate for this position, you are the graduate of an accredited Legal Assistant program and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a large law firm. Superior organizational skills, advanced computer skills, high attention to detail, the ability to handle clients in a professional manner, and excellent communication skills are required for this position.
