About the Role
BG MachineWorks is growing fast and now has opportunities for Manual Machinists to join their team in Delta, BC.
This is a full-time position that will see you working 8 hour days from Monday to Friday with flexible start times.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating conventional mill and or lathe machines and for producing high-quality re-work as regulated by Transport Canada and Standard Shop procedures.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
To be successful in this position you will ideally have 5 years of experience working with manual production machines. A combination of education and other experience will also be considered. Previous experience working in the aviation industry will be considered an asset.
You will need to have a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. You must also be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
This is the perfect role for a hard-working and positive team player who has great interpersonal and communication skills.
About the Benefits
For your hard work and dedication, you will be offered an hourly rate of $30-$40, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will also receive the following benefits (after a probationary period):
