Residential Maintenance Associate, Edmonton AB $62,000 + full benefits

Your new company
My Client, a leader in residential property management, owns and manages a large portfolio of well-kept properties across Canada. You will be joining a company that places the utmost importance on customer care and supporting their staff and boast many long tenured team members.

Your new role
As the on-site Maintenance associate, you will play a key role in customer retention as you maintain both the interior and exterior of the property in accordance with company standards. You will look after 2 residential high rise buildings with more than 200 rental units. General responsibilities will include: preventative maintenance, completing work orders within 24 hours, suite turnovers, equipment logs, grounds keeping, and emergency response. Working hours will be 8:00 - 5:00 with a rotating on call shift. To be considered for this position you must be able to live on site

What you'll need to succeed
You will have minimum 4th or 5th Class ABSA power engineering ticket. You will have 2 or more years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in residential property. You will need intermediate to advanced skills in plumbing, electric, renovations, trouble shooting, appliance repair, carpentry. A working knowledge of fire safety, security, and OHS will also be essential. You will need strong understanding of service trades as well as a driver's license and reliable vehicle. Most significantly you will have the ambition to develop their skill and progress into more senior roles as the company grows.
