Manager, Finance Operations and Treasury

Our client is a national multi-location merchant, who is currently seeking a Manager, Finance Operations and Treasury to join their growing Finance department. As an influential member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for promoting economic prosperity and ensuring the financial security of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance/Accounting professional to establish their career with a well-respected company.

Location: Richmond, BC

Responsibilities:

• Provide everyday cash position, estimate and analysis
• Manage daily cash transactions including reporting, wire transfers and bank reconciliations
• Supervise and manage all cash balances efficiently
• Support management with cash flow forecasting, liquidity decision making and present monthly reports 
• Ensure to check outsourcing as well as electronic payments
• Develop, monitor and upgrade Treasury department budget
• Support and manage short and long-term investment balances along with interest recording
• Manage bank, merchant service and insurance relationships

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in related positions (mix of public practice and industry is preferred)
• CPA (CA, CGA or CMA) Designation
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of business, tax rules and accounting principles
• Superior organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong ability to exercise diplomacy when faced with difficult situations
• High competency demonstrated in strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop a professional rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional time management skills
• Demonstrated the ability to work autonomously and apply sound business judgment
• Advanced working knowledge Excel
