Assist with the staff and operational management of the Security Strategy & Governance practice, including: Acting as a technical reference point for security strategy, governance and risk management. Being the subject matter expert on security architecture and cloud security. This position may require some travel and will be based out of our Calgary Office. Other locations in Canada may be available.

The Opportunity: Manager, Security Strategy & Governance
Our services combine strategy, governance, technical and risk management expertise . Your role is to assist with technical security architecture, with a focus on assessing and securing cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or Business and relevant technical designations/experience.
A minimum of 5 years of related security/IT experience, which gives you:
Solid understanding of architecture, security, networking and/or cloud security risks, issues and solutions. Solid mix of business and technical capabilities, and proven experience with communicating complex technical and risk management issues to clients C-Suite and Board within the context of their business. Ability to develop and manage relationships, identify cyber security and resilience opportunities with clients and propose solutions that meet the clients' needs. The ability to manage cyber security projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations. Strong leadership qualities when working in a team and the ability to be recognized as the subject matter expert in a given field when our client requires. CISSP designation is preferred
