The Home Networking Operations team is responsible for fine-tuning technologies for optimizing our customer's home internet experience. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of experts focused on defect isolation and root cause analysis of home networking issues. This includes driving the best possible Wi-Fi experience and ensuring high bandwidth solutions are available throughout the home.

In this role, you will leverage your technical leadership by leading a team of management professionals to ensure effective interlock and ongoing improvements as it relates to the delivery of FFH services to our residential customers. You will work closely with the Home Networking Development team to ensure new home networking solutions delivered to our customers are in fact improving the internet experience for our customers.

As a Technology Strategy Manager, you will take on an exciting role as a People Leader:
    •Lead subject matter experts to drive the execution of strategy and road maps for Home Networking technology integration •Lead, inspire, coach and develop team members to drive high performance and a highly engaged culture •Provide innovative and strategic thought leadership to accelerate business initiatives and drive quality outcomes

      •Ability to drive and make well-informed decisions that support TELUS' strategic direction

      •Ability to meet or exceed objectives on time and within budget, and prioritize and manage multiple tasks

      •Excellent communication skills, including through compelling storytelling and presentation to senior level audiences
      •Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and ensure they are resolved demonstrating superior negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    •University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration •Strong knowledge of networks, infrastructure and service enablement platforms •Keen interest in industry trends, and patterns for how future services will be consumed •Ability to work effectively with highly technical stakeholders •Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences, business teams & leaders •Strong collaboration, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills •Strategic, business and financial acumen, with strong problem solving and analytical capabilities •Ability to drive transformational change across multiple stakeholder groups in a large, complex organization •Experience leading technical teams, with proven expertise in driving a high performance culture

    •Working knowledge of product lifecycle management •Formal business training, e.g. Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
