The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Head of North American Products and Platforms. It requires strong sales leadership to cultivate a positive sales culture, deliver training, enhance engagement and develop and elevate our client experience and go-to-market strategy. The individual will partner with our Regional Presidents to lead Talent Segment Strategy with a focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. They will collaborate closely with enterprise partners to drive visibility and engagement with the Private Counsel business to execute on the bank's One Client strategy , and work with practice management to design and implement coaching and training programs.
Provides high quality sales and service to investment clients to deliver an exceptional client experience. Provides technical expertise for all aspects of investment management and administration to ensure compliance. Works collaboratively within the branch and the regional team as part of the client/relationship management solution. Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as appropriate.

$110,500.00 - $192,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

- Acts as the prime contact for internal/external stakeholder relationships, which may include regulators.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
- Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
- Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
- Collects data needed for quarterly performance reporting and analyzes the performance of each mandate on the platform.
- Develops and recommends model portfolios based on the statistical evaluation of risk, return, and correlations.
- Prepares spreadsheets and reports with information about performance information, portfolio summaries, asset allocation targets, etc.
- Reviews the program for effectiveness, considers industry trends and recommends enhancements; makes changes as required.
- Identifies business needs, designs/develops tools and training programs; may include delivery of training to audiences.

Qualifications:
- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MBA or Finance certification preferred.
- Credentials and experience sufficient to achieve registration as Advising Representative with Provincial Securities Commissions is required (earned CFA Charter and has gained 12 months of relevant investment management experience in the 36-month period before applying for registration; or received the Canadian Investment Manager designation and has gained 48 months of relevant investment management experience, 12 months of which was gained in the 36-month period before applying for registration).
