Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Clinic Supervisor you will provide excellent client care and clinical work to our clients and who as a health care professional (Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) serve as a Subject Mater Expert (SME) to other clinical staff. You will liaise with other clinic staff, physicians and administration to ensure effective delivery of our services. You will be responsible for leading all functions of day-to-day operations, including management of staff, and organization of all related equipment required for operations as well as some direct patient care.

Here's how
    •Supporting daily operations by providing direction to staff regarding daily patient workflow to ensure all duties are outlined, assigned and managed in accordance to TELUS Health high client care standards •Overseas all clinical operations related to the delivery of service pertaining to each individual client and site •Manages staff including; performance management, motivating staff to achieve objectives, conducting performance evaluations., providing ongoing coaching and feedback •Develop practice protocols & to maintain quality standards of care making recommendations and continuous implementation of improvements •Participate in the resolution of client concerns including reviewing and modifying existing processes and discussing findings with appropriate personnel •In partnership with the senior leader and Human Resources actively participates to recruiting and onboarding activities, which include, interviewing, orientating and training new employees •Serve as a backup for and point of contact in account management with major clients to ensure exceptional and seamless service delivery •Ensure clear and accountable documentation practices, following accepted TELUS Health Care Centres standards •Act as the SME clinical resource for staff and clients during critical clinical situations and for Occupational Health related questions •Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely manner •Oversees team work schedules and authorizes vacations, to ensure staffing levels meet operational needs •Delegate work to employees, track progress and provide constructive feedback throughout projects


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Education in a relevant field leading to professions such as; Occupational Health Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (A different combination of education and relevant experience may be considered) •Over 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare setting •Current BCLS or CPR certification at HCP level •Minimum of 5 years progressive experience of which at least 1 year are in directing and supervising "high touch" client service •Member in good standing of their Professional order in Alberta •Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and provide strong leadership •Excellent communication, presentation skills and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders •Accustomed to working closely with shared services functions such as Finance, Human Resources, IT and Sales and Marketing •Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision, while delivering the highest standards of patient care, leadership and customer service •Demonstrated ability to design and implement policy, procedures and improvement initiatives •Successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making •Ability to wear many hats and operate in a fast paced environment •Passionate about preventive health and wellness while being committed to delivering the highest standard in patient care and client experience

    •Certification or experience in Occupational Health Industry •Certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing, Audiometric Testing and Spirometry an asset
