We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative for our client - A leading Lighting Wholesale Distributor, specializing in Horticulture. The position is based in Calgary, Alberta. We are looking for someone who is able to deliver under pressure in a demanding, yet rewarding team-focused environment. Strong, driven, positive and upbeat interpersonal skills preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing accounts and strengthen relationships and grow the accounts
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline
  • New business development using all available resources including cold calling
  • Act as a brand ambassador and promote the company and its products
  • Partipate in trade events and setup and manage booth
  • Generate period sales reports as required
  • Participate in Market research , competitor analysis and stay on top of industry trends

  • Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Efficient, reliable with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Professional and exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Maintains composure under pressure
  • Experience in the Horticulture or Lighting industries is an advantage
  • Open to travelling as needed
