Ensuring an exceptional customer experience is at the heart of what we do within the New Growth Markets (NGM) team. We work with residential and commercial real estate developers to expand the TELUS network into new construction across Alberta and British Columbia. Our mandate is to ensure the TELUS PureFibre network is a valued part of all new developments, and to maximize loading in those developments as people and businesses move in.

The NGM Marketing team drives go-to-market execution across the NGM portfolio, using developers as a channel to market. The Strategy team within NGM Marketing is accountable for offers, strategy and planning, reporting, governance and enablement within the NGM footprint.

We work with the broader Home and Small Business Solutions (HSBS) and TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) marketing organizations as well NGM GTM team and Channel Management to drive profitable growth of all product portfolios into NGM residential and commercial developments. The Performance Analyst II role plays a pivotal part in NGM reporting and enablement. This role provides data analysis, database management, and reporting support to the broader NGM team, requiring technical reporting and development capabilities, data visualization skills, as well as the ability to communicate business impacts throughout the organization.

    •Lead the management and quality control of broadband footprint expansion into developments •Translate business requirements into data specifications •Write scripts/code/automation for data extraction and reporting •Locate, integrate and automate different sources of data to support both standardized and ad-hoc reporting and analysis •Support the team with great analytical insights in how we can continuously improve business outcomes •Create insight driven reporting and presentations, with the ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders across multiple platforms

    •Excellent collaboration with ability to influence across all stakeholder teams •Intermediate working knowledge of SAS Base, SAS EG, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Excel, Access •Fundamental UNIX knowledge, automation, SFTP, servers •Sound knowledge of customer analytics, data warehousing, and predictive modeling •Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, while quickly pivoting as required to meet objectives •Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach; encouraging 'test and learn' and challenging the status quo •Proven ability to be a subject matter expert and technical resource within a non-technical organization


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •A recognized collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills •3-5 years of progressive and successful experience in a data analysis, database management, data visualization, or similar role •University degree in computer science or similar •Someone who thrives in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, with entrepreneurial and self-starter characteristics

    •Understanding of TELUS products and solutions •Understanding of TELUS systems •Graduate level education in computer science or business
