Do you have a strong working knowledge of OSB, sawmill and plywood equipment from an optimization, controls and mechanical point of view? If the answer is yes we would love to connect.The Project Manager (Electrical/Controls) is a support role reporting to the Control Systems Manager. This position is responsible for electrical and control systems project planning and execution. The position works directly with members of the Operational Services team, various Project Managers, and Project Engineers as part of the project team and will oversee on-site Contractors.


What We’re Looking For:
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical/engineering discipline;
  • Professional certification as an engineer or technologist;
  • Professional certification as a Project Management Professional.
  • 10+ years of experience in forest products manufacturing;
  • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience;
  • Experience as technical lead on multiple medium to large sized projects;
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Visualization systems (HMIs)
    • Industrial programming: ladder logic, function block, structured text
    • Motion control: hydraulic, electric
    • Motor control: Variable frequency drives, soft starters, smart overloads
    • Industrial networking: Ethernet, DeviceNet
    • Microsoft Project
