Our team is growing, and as a result we're adding a Project Manager to our group. As part of the Remediation Program Management team in Calgary or Edmonton, you'll be responsible for driving contaminated Upstream oil and gas sites to closure through your work with a close-knit team of specialists, professionals, and technical staff.

A day in the life:
- You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers
- You prepare Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans
- You prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors
- You review data and provide recommendations
- You are responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements
- You train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc. as well as on site specific health and safety
- You interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward - Work with other members of the team to ensure provision of the support necessary for completion of projects
We'd love to hear from you if you have...
- University degree in engineering or natural/earth sciences
- Minimum 7 years of experience in contaminated site assessments and conceptual site models of Upstream oil and gas sites
- Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace/Possess a safety conscious attitude
- Strong field experience and willingness to mentor in the field on projects as needed
- Understanding of the Alberta Environmental regulations such as Tier 1 and Tier 2 guidelines,
- Professional designation is preferred
