The Mobile Broadband Network Deployment team is passionate about ensuring our TELUS customers have access to our world class wireless network. The Mobile Broadband Network Deployment RF Operations team manages all testing, commissioning, and maintenance in Alberta on the following builds macro, in-building, small cell & upgraded wireless deployments. This team is engaged, energetic, creative & high performing.

Your initiative, strong project management skills & exceptional decision-making abilities are strengths that will be critical in managing our Opex and Capex maintenance support. Your creativity will drive innovation in our wireless build programs and your contributions will define how we move forward to our next generation network!

Here's how
    •Management of the Operational budget, Capital budget and Projects for Alberta RF Operations: •Define, track, and manage maintenance schedules and budgets for Opex and Capex projects •Control the monthly spending as per the monthly triage for Opex work •Control the Capex monthly and Quarterly spending as per the forecasted targets •Review and manage vendor quotations for Opex and Capex •Ensure the maintenance requirements highlighted by the site Techs are addressed within Opex and Capex budgets •Review the Contractors Completions report and invoices •Work with stakeholders to define contract requirements


Qualifications:

    •Expert at managing multiple, concurrent technical projects to completion on time, budget and scope •Expert in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint •Experience managing Capex and Opex Budgets •Adept at managing external vendor contracts and relationships •Composed and poised when interacting with internal and external partners •Passionate about the use of analytics and tracking to drive business decisions •Acknowledged for strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills •Recognized as a strong collaborative team player •Valued for being a highly engaged team member who brings out the best in their team

Great-to-haves
    •PMP Certification •University degree from a recognized institution •Telecom industry experience
