ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Methanex currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Medicine Hat on a full-time basis.
Under the direction of the Chief Inspector, the primary responsibility of the QA/QC Inspector is determining and coordinating non-destructive testing activities and performing the inspection of piping, pressure equipment and fabrication processes to achieve the desired result of a safe and reliable petrochemical operation in full compliance with construction codes, provincial statutory regulations, Methanex project standards and corporate best practices.
More specifically your responsibilities will include:
To qualify for this role you will need either a relevant trade certificate or a post-secondary diploma in Materials Engineering Technology, Welding Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent previous inspection experience will also be considered. A valid drivers license is also required.
