Quality Control SupervisorHigh Level, Alberta
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Quality Control Supervisor's duties include, but are not limited to:
  • developing, implementing and coordinating quality assurance, recovery and process control activities in the Finishing End Department
  • coordinate and manage continuous improvement activities; define, monitor and propose improvements to quality control performance indicators
  • prioritize areas for improvement, perform tests, studies and implement corrective actions; oversee daily, weekly, monthly and yearly quality reports
  • monitor and optimize process control parameters to maximize recovery, quality, productivity, value and margin
  • troubleshoot and assist in setting maintenance priorities and develop procedures and participate in equipment alignment activities
  • Supervision duties expected.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work both with a team and independently:
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physically demanding industrial environment;
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred, but not required
