Real Estate Technology Advisory Senior Associate

A career in our Property Valuation Practice, within Deals Valuation, will provide you with the opportunity to leverage specialist expertise in the real estate market. Qualification in surveyors, property valuers of internationally recognised professional bodies such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, or local professional institutes such as the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers are required. \n\nAs part of our team, you will be involved in real estate matters where we offer various kinds of services including valuations for different purposes, taxation, mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services as well as being part of the integrated deals team in offering real estate related advice to clients from an overall deals perspective.

Purpose-led work you'll be part of

As a Real Estate Technology Advisory Senior Associate , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proven experience with Real Estate software such as Yardi, MRI, Real Page and other proptech solutions in a functional role; • Understand full cycle accounting within the Real Estate industry with the ability to comprehend acquisition/ disposition transactions and property management techniques; • Complete all job functions relating to assigned entities accurately, efficiently, by the assigned deadlines in the client-specific software • Utilize and develop skills such as problem solving, decision-making, time management and effective communication to achieve the desired results; • Reconciliation and understanding of all balance sheet, P&L accounts and how they interact with Yardi or other softwares; • Full comprehension of operating costs with the ability to extract financial data from a tenant's lease ensuring all clauses and options are recorded appropriately; • Ability to take on specific duties in an implementation such as setting up new properties, recovery calculations, etc.; • Assist in data conversions and provide data validation assistance to all financial tenant information; • Ad hoc duties and reconciliations as required by client engagements.
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

•Enrolled in a Chartered Professional Accounting designation program; CPA designation (or local equivalent) is preferred;• Accounting/ finance experience with preference in real estate; • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; • Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships as a team player; • Organizational/ multi-tasking: ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities; • Ability to prioritize workload; • Computer Skills: intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite; advanced Yardi Voyager, Yardi Breeze, MRI, Investment Management Suites, Proptech applications; •Fluent in French and English would be an asset• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
