At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.
How you'll make a difference:
You'll utilize your skills in office administration and customer service to assist our team.
As a registration representative you will:
- Use an online booking and scheduling system to facilitate the registration process for clients.
- Manages triage and processing of all incoming Provider Referral inquiries through a shared mailbox, ensuring timely responses to phone queue emails and identifying and addressing incomplete or deficient referrals.
- Perform various clerical tasks including typing correspondence and sending faxes to support office operations.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned in support of team objectives.
- Acts as a liaison between claim owners and providers to address concerns.
- Reviews referrals for validity within established guidelines, requests complete medical disclosure packages when necessary, and expedites urgent disclosure requests from claim owners, WSBC staff, and Health Care Service Providers.
- Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Obtain and record information both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Efficiently handle a high volume of calls, prioritize tasks, and manage workload to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Work effectively with internal resources, escalating issues as needed and collaborating to resolve complex problems in processed payments.
- A minimum of grade 12 education
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently

Salary : $28.07/hourly
