The Role:

As aSoftware Training & Transitions (ST&T) Trainer - Sales and Accountingyou will provide training to existing customers on our Dealer Management Software. You will be responsible for assisting customers' training both on the phone and virtually leading up to the new software completion. ST&T Trainers may also assist the customer when required with new software install training in person.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer service oriented and is a self-starter, will have a passion fortechnology,and thrive on a changing landscape.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software
  • PBS Sales certified or willingness to commit to becoming PBS Sales certified
  • PBS Accounting certified or willingness to commit to becoming PBS Accounting certified
  • Learn and develop an understanding of the process for training customers on the PBS software
  • Learn and develop an understanding of data entry and other key tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads
  • Taking the initiative to learn new products to increase their knowledge
  • Provide excellent support to our customers in our software
  • Be able to talk about and be able to navigate our DMS Software to be able to better assist our customers
  • Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module or modules
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
  • Responds to both internal and external training requests in a timely manner
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise and escalate issues to the corresponding teams
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment
  • Knowledge sharing within own module and others within ST&T
  • Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
  • Willingness to commitment to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
  • Ensure ST&T queue is monitored
  • Customer focus / excellent customer service skills
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Strong documentation abilities
  • Effective time management & organization
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1-2 years' experience with PBS software in sales and/or accounting is an asset
  • 1-2 years' experience in dealership sales and/or accounting is an asset
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • High School Diploma
  • Travel within Canada and the USA (up to 1 wk/month) is required; in consequence, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable) will be a requirement
  • Available to occasionally work nonstandard hours
  • Possibility of occasionally working Saturday and/or Sunday
