About the Role
PolicyWise currently has an exciting opportunity for a Research & Evaluation Project Manager to join their team in Calgary, Alberta.
PolicyWise receives grants and contracts to develop, implement and manage projects with significant variation in focus and scope. As such, projects can range from research studies to environmental scans, planning and facilitating learning events or development of implementation frameworks. Projects focus on a multitude of subjects relevant to child, family and community well-being that are related to the strategic directions of PolicyWise.
This dynamic role combines project management, stakeholder relations, research, evaluation, and knowledge mobilization activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
Under the mentorship for the Director, Projects, you will work with partners to clearly understand their needs, present options and design and implement projects to meet their requirements. You will also support the Director, Projects in achieving PolicyWise project-related goals and outcomes. You will have direct reports including project staff such as Research & Evaluation Associates, Project Coordinator, and Contractors.
In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Master's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or consultation work involving direct responsibility for deliverables and working with multiple committees and teams. Experience in research and evaluation with knowledge of research methodologies is required.
