The Outside Plant Construction West, Network Implementation Team, is on a mission to transform - for the better. We are looking for a dynamic and poised individual to support our strategic and tactical Resource Planning team. You will play a key role in planning, executing and delivering a portfolio of construction programs to support the network build end to end. In this role you will work with internal and external stakeholders to initiate and progress the build programs for on-time delivery, cost effectiveness and cycle time. You are a proven team member with forecast and supply/demand analytical experience executing on our capacity management strategy of being the world's best users of time and possess a strong background working with historical and operational data in driving results and operational efficiency.

As a Resource Manager, you will be collaborating with teams and leading processes with a focus on planning, scheduling, coordinating and executing network build activities.

You will collaborate with both a core program team and cross-functional teams to support the following key activities:
    •Monitor the build forecast and ensure proactive measures are taken to prepare for the resources required to complete on-time and on budget •Perform statistical analysis and identify demand pattern changes associated to growth, trends and seasonality including forecast variance •Work closely with Finance to ensure interlock between operational plans and financial budgets •Work closely with Team Members to gather and analyze product and material forecasts as well as plan/schedule/launch activities across your region of responsibility •Develop and manage ongoing supplier guidance and forecasted work volumes to partner field resources •Manage and adjust field technician capacity across your region ensuring optimum service levels for fulfillment and assurance activities •Lead weekly and monthly scheduling meetings with NPC, FCM and FSM Team members ensuring optimal field technician utilization •Support continuous improvement programs and initiatives

    •A proven track record as a strong team player, efficient and very organized •Ability to navigate complex teams and collaborate with influence, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in •A proven track record for consistently delivering results and effectively meeting program milestones •Outstanding business & financial acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with superior ability to creatively solve problems •Recipient of a bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience

    •Experience collaborating, organizing and executing projects •Experience analyzing and reporting on performance and financial data •Forecasting analytics with Supply/Demand experience •Solid understanding of TELUS field operations and planning processes •Education or equivalent experience with mathematics and statistics •Project Management certifications
