You’re a Sales Development Rep working in Calgary, AB.
We’re a independently driven, diverse team who love technology and are doing our best work building a new virtual reality enterprise training product.
You’ll be helping build a new sales process and generate leads in the pipeline for the organization. We’ll rely on you to bring your outbound and inbound sales experience to the table, especially when it comes to selling to enterprise and the fortune 1000.
You’ll join 3 software engineers, 1 marketer, the VP of business development, and the founder that are currently hard at work building a system to generate the right amount of leads, convert those leads into customers, and successfully deploy our web-based SaaS product for customer success.
Our product is targeted at high regulation and compliance industries like aerospace, aviation, construction, manufacturing, and energy so it’s a big bonus if you have an understanding and existing relationships in these verticals.
We’re looking for someone with a strong track record of hitting sales quota, helping build a sales organization, and putting sales technology systems to work. Hopefully you’re a great at consultative sales skills, including the ability to build a joint value proposition and proposal with your client.
In this role, you will:
Helps generate new leads through inside and outside sales methods
Work with our team to measure and move leads down the funnel
Speak with our customers directly multiple times a month
Communicate customer feedback with the product and engineering teams
Close software sales over the phone or directly in-person
We're looking for someone who has:
5+ years of sales experience
Consistent overachievement of lead generation and sales quota
Intimate familiarity with inside and outside (direct) sales
No fear of going after the enterprise and fortune 1000
Proven consultative sales skills, including the ability to build a joint value proposition and proposal with your client
Experience selling to C-Suite or VPs a big bonus
Prior experience selling SaaS / Cloud solutions a big bonus
Understanding of high regulation and compliance industries like aerospace, aviation, construction, manufacturing, energy a big bonus
Existing relationships/strong network in any of the industries a big bonus
Strong communication and presentation skills
An interest in technology
