Job Summary:

The Security Site Supervisor at Parkland Mall is responsible for overseeing all on-site security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for shoppers, tenants, employees, and visitors. This role leads the security team, manages daily operations, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, and support security officers on shift.
• Conduct regular patrols of the mall, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and medical situations.
• Liaise with mall management, tenants, contractors, and emergency services.
• Ensure all security procedures and health & safety regulations are followed.
• Complete incident reports, daily logs, and shift handovers accurately and promptly.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel performance.
• Oversee key control, lost and found procedures, and crowd management during peak periods or events.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a security supervisory role, preferably in a retail or shopping centre environment.
• Valid security licence (as required by local regulations).
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Competent in report writing and basic computer systems.
• Must have a drivers licence

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Class 5 License
Valid Security License
