Job Description

  • Join a growing, tight-knit team, and an established industry leader
  • Great opportunity to make an impact on your community
  • Enjoy an attractive annual salary of $100K-$125K+, plus generous benefits!
This Role Is for You If…

You are a senior engineer who has mastered the technical side of the profession and is now asking a different question:

“Where can I actually lead, influence outcomes, and build something that lasts?”

Qualimet is offering an opportunity for the right individual to grow into firm leadership and eventual ownership stake, not just hold another senior title. This role is intentionally structured for someone who wants to move from senior practitioner to practice leader and partner.

What This Role Offers You

You will receive a starting salary of $100K-$125K+, negotiable based on skills, knowledge, and experience, plus the following benefits:

  • Extended Health and Dental benefits
  • Critical Illness Insurance
  • Life Insurance and AD&D
  • Long Term Disability
  • Three weeks of vacation to start

This is not a static senior engineering position. It is a career-defining opportunity.

In this role, you will gain:

  • Direct access to ownership and meaningful involvement in firm-level decision-making
  • A clear transition path from senior engineer to operational and practice leadership
  • The opportunity to influence how work is delivered, how people are developed, and how the firm grows
  • Exposure to business development, financial performance, and strategic planning
  • A genuine pathway toward partnership for someone who demonstrates leadership capability, values alignment, and long-term commitment

If you are looking for responsibility with influence, this role is built for that.

Who This Role Is (and Is Not) For

This role is well-suited to someone who:

  • Wants to lead, not just deliver
  • Is motivated by responsibility, trust, and long-term impact
  • Is interested in the business of engineering, not only the technical work
  • Sees themselves growing into firm leadership and ownership

This role is not intended for someone seeking a purely technical senior position, short-term consulting work, or limited involvement in leadership and business development.

Why This Opportunity Is Real

Qualimet has the history, client base, and technical reputation already established. What matters now is who carries it forward.

Ownership is committed to developing the right individual into a long-term leader and creating a genuine pathway to partnership. This is not theoretical succession planning. It is an intentional investment in the future of the firm.
