The TELUS Business Solutions-Customer Relationship & Solutions Management team provides customer solutions architecture, deal pursuit, solutions delivery, customer care, and operations support for TELUS business customers across all segments.

TELUS Customer Relationship & Solutions Management team is seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Architect to join a dynamic Pre-sales Engineering team, supporting both mid-market and enterprise customers.

The Senior Customer Solutions Architect for Unified Communications and Collaboration is a pre-sales role which requires a mixture of business/sales ability and technical skills. In this role, you are the primary technical sales support function for the front line sales executives in conceptualizing, qualifying, positioning, and closing complex/integrated Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions (UC&C). You will work with TELUS clients to analyze their business requirements and develop technology solutions to resolve business needs.

Here's how

You have a passion for information & communication technologies (ICT) with demonstrated experience in technical solution consulting. You will perform business needs assessment, product demonstrations, whiteboard discussion, opportunity qualification, and solution design and proposal development and:
    •Support sales teams, other CSAs, and sales specialists to qualify and close UC&C sales opportunities •Respond to RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs: Create proposed solutions with application drawings and related technical materials for presentation to prospective customers •Analyze TELUS products and services against those offered by the competition •Oversee engineering and technical integrity of UC&C solutions provided to customers •Communicate technical solutions to internal provisioning teams for implementation •Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and market developments •Promote TELUS through membership and participation in community and professional associations •Conducting presentations to internal and customer audiences •Build internal product and technology relationships to ensure strong alignment between sales and marketing plans •Provide the CSA community with technical training sessions on UC fundamentals •Provide directional feedback to marketing with regard to future solution offerings


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Existing knowledge and/or relationships with vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft within the LAN, WAN, WLAN, VoIP, SDN, Contact Centre(CC), PBX systems, video conferencing, chat portals, CRM, routing, call recording and predictive market •Ability to formulate solutions in a complex technology and business environment •Ability to uncover the key issues from a business perspective associated a technical network solution •Effective time management and organizational skills •Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills Ability to discuss customer solution benefits with financial acumen skills

    •Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in computer science/engineering/management information systems or equivalent •5+ years of related work experience in Telecommunications, wireless and/or IT industry •Previous industry experience in solution development, pre-sales, consulting or customer-facing technical roles •One or more industry recognized certifications such as CCIE, CCNA/CCNP, CCDA/CCDP or other Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft and UC vendor based certifications
