Job Description
Long-term contract opportunity supporting enterprise-scale data modernization and architecture initiatives.
The organization is going through a major enterprise data modernization effort, focused on improving how data is governed, shared, and used across the business. You’ll help shape the enterprise data architecture and governance approach, working across business and tech teams to make data more consistent, accessible, and reusable. Key areas include data models, governance and metadata standards, data quality, integration and sharing patterns, and enabling data products that support analytics and AI use cases.You:You’ll bring the following experience and capabilities:

- Senior Data Architect role focused on enterprise data strategy, governance, architecture, and modern data platform enablement, including AI-enabled data capabilities.
- Remote position available anywhere within Canada.
- 12-month long contract
The organization is going through a major enterprise data modernization effort, focused on improving how data is governed, shared, and used across the business. You’ll help shape the enterprise data architecture and governance approach, working across business and tech teams to make data more consistent, accessible, and reusable. Key areas include data models, governance and metadata standards, data quality, integration and sharing patterns, and enabling data products that support analytics and AI use cases.You:You’ll bring the following experience and capabilities:
- 5+ years in data or solution architecture roles supporting enterprise-scale systems and integration strategies
- 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data environments, including data platforms and architecture standards
- 5+ years working across multiple architecture domains (data, application, business, and technology)
- 5+ years translating complex business requirements into scalable data and technical solutions
- 3+ years engaging directly with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong experience defining enterprise data architecture, governance, and integration frameworks
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience delivering enterprise data initiatives within large or complex organizations
- Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Cloudera, or similar cloud/data ecosystems)
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI principles
Compensation:
This role pays between $95-110 per hour.
